The most notable function is adding the flow rate capability to an espresso-sized scale, enabling you to monitor your curve while using flow rate-compatible espresso machines.
During the course of a pour-over, achieving a consistent flow rate to your desired recipe will have you monitor your agitation. This additional function to a traditional timer/weight-only scale is a must-have for any discerning barista.
AUTO TARE - AUTO TIMING MODE FOR BOTH ESPRESSO AND POUR-OVER SETTINGS
A quick press of the timer 5 times will start the espresso mode (Auto Tare - Auto Time). When the auto-timing mode is activated, the timer automatically detects changes in weight and sets off the timer. This is especially useful when pulling espresso to achieve high accuracy readings.
During pour-over settings, as the scale detects lightening of weight as the dripper is removed from the vessel, the timer and final weight will be automatically recorded and displayed. We found this extremely useful and practical.
HIGHLY INTUITIVE DESIGN
