Planting & Care

1. Planting: Dwarf Jades need five to six hours of bright indirect light daily and should be kept out of direct sunlight which can burn the leaves. The ideal location for an indoor plant is a south-, east-, or west-facing window with shade. When moving outdoors, gradually expose it to sunlight and protect it from direct sunlight. Use soil mixes blended with gravel or perlite, but not sand. Keep the temperature between 61 and 71 degrees Fahrenheit, and bring it indoors before fall frost if left outside in summer.

2. Watering: Water dwarf jades indoors only when the soil has dried out slightly. Insert your finger into the top inch of soil to check for dryness. Water moderately until water comes out of the pot's bottom drainage holes. Avoid overwatering and remove excess water in the saucer.  Dwarf jades need more frequent watering outdoors during summer. Watch the soil moisture and water moderately when needed.

3. Fertilizing: Feed dwarf jades monthly with a standard houseplant fertilizer or succulent plant food from spring to autumn. Stop during winter and restart in late winter with a 50% diluted fertilizer once a month.

4. Pruning:  Prune plants when the soil is dry, but before watering. Remove dead/dying leaves and shape as desired. Wait a few days before watering again. Repot dwarf jades when roots clog drainage holes. Wait a week after repotting before watering to prevent root rot.

From our customers

The experience shopping with Sage & Sill was a good one ... the order I received was damaged in transit. The package itself was very securely wrapped though, so I'm not sure how the damage occurred. I reported the damage immediately & followed through on the information the company needed, including photos of the damaged item. I explained I only needed a replacement bulb for the item, as that was what I sent the picture of. To my surprize though, today I received a whole new replacement order, not just the broken part (the bulb)! And it was super quick too! Thanx so much, Sage & Sill 🤍

Ordered an item for delivery to the UK that wasn't available anywhere here. Good price, great service, regular email updates and it arrived in one piece (I was worried, as it's glass), Lovely item too. A perfect experience really.

Ordered a gift for someone. Product was exactly as pictured! She loved it. At first I had a bit of trouble with the tracking number not updating. I reached out to customer service. They responded within 24 hours. They seemed genuinely concerned, investigated the problem, and sent me a new tracking number. The package actually arrived ahead of the estimated delivery date. Based on my first experience with this company, I would definitely order again from them.

I love browsing through the many beautiful items on their site. I also appreciate Sage & Sill's honesty, with each item stating up front the expected ship date range. I placed 2 separate orders. Both arrived within the window. Knowing it might take a while is much better than being disappointed by a late shipment!
