Hand-knotted by Beni M’Guild artisans in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains, Baya carries the quiet beauty of a rug softened by decades of life. Approximately 20–30 years old, it was made from hand-spun wool colored with natural dyes using generations-old Amazigh weaving techniques.
A large nested diamond anchors the composition, surrounded by smaller geometric forms and a stepped border. Muted shades of warm brown, faded apricot, slate blue, soft gray, and ivory blend across the textured surface, creating a beautifully timeworn palette that shifts subtly in different light.
Measuring 7'3" x 12'10", Baya is generously sized for a living room, dining room, or bedroom. Its restrained colors and softly weathered pattern bring depth and history to a space without overwhelming it—equally at home among warm neutrals, natural wood, or more contemporary furnishings.
