The Two Door Elm Cabinet takes a traditional cabinet shape and keeps it in warm, natural reclaimed elm. Each door is framed with raised crossbars, a detail borrowed from old Chinese storage cabinets, and the top sits slightly proud of the body on a low base.
At 48 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 37.5 inches high, it fits a short dining wall, an entryway or the end of a living room. Behind the doors there is shelving for plates, linens or barware, and the top is the right height for a lamp, a pair of vases or a serving tray.
Reclaimed elm carries knots, open grain and small marks from its earlier life, and the honey tone shifts from board to board. No two cabinets look exactly alike.
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills with a slightly damp cloth and dry right away. Use coasters under drinks and vases, and avoid harsh cleaners and long hours of direct sun.
