The Acorn Vase designed by Ilex Studio of London is a pure and simple design, based on the principles of minimalism, timelessness, and functionality, it allows you to observe the acorn seed as it matures, giving an insight into the plants' first stages of life.

The mouth of the acorn vase cradles the seed, keeping it dry as it sprouts and encouraging the roots to flourish freely. The sinuously shaped vase magnifies the roots as they prosper; creating a perfect focal point to witness the plant as it develops.

A perfect vase also for forcing small paperwhites and muscari bulbs in the winter as well as doing double duty as just a pretty bud vase.

Includes a 36-page handbook, which thoughtfully provides detailed steps for germinating the seed and growing the avocado plant. Ideal for plant lovers, design enthusiasts, inquisitive children and everyone who wishes to experience the joy of nature and a unique connection to our environment.

The experience shopping with Sage & Sill was a good one ... the order I received was damaged in transit. The package itself was very securely wrapped though, so I'm not sure how the damage occurred. I reported the damage immediately & followed through on the information the company needed, including photos of the damaged item. I explained I only needed a replacement bulb for the item, as that was what I sent the picture of.
