Elm Coffee Table
The Elm Coffee Table keeps reclaimed elm in its natural color. Nothing covers the wood, so the warm grain, knots and texture are the whole design.
It is built like a slab: a thick top set on two wide, angled panel legs. It measures 63 inches long, 31 inches deep and 16 inches high, deep enough to hold books, a tray and a vase, and low enough to sit comfortably in front of most sofas. Where the Aki adds drawers and the Kaira comes in aged black, this table is the simplest and most sculptural of the three, and it works easily with linen, wool and other natural materials.
Reclaimed timber carries small cracks, open grain and changes in tone across the surface. Every table is a little different, and those differences are part of what you are buying.
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills with a slightly damp cloth and dry right away. Use coasters and trivets, and avoid harsh cleaners and long hours of direct sun.
