Our elegant forged copper and carbon steel pie server has a beautifully curved handle riveted to a hand-peened copper serving head. We season the handle and buff the copper to a high shine. Copper is a soft metal, so expect light scratches to appear through use. We think these character marks enhance the beauty of your piece. The experience shopping with Sage & Sill was a good one ... the order I received was damaged in transit. The package itself was very securely wrapped though, so I'm not sure how the damage occurred. I reported the damage immediately & followed through on the information the company needed, including photos of the damaged item. I explained I only needed a replacement bulb for the item, as that was what I sent the picture of.
